Faculty and Staff Meal Plans
GW Faculty and Staff also have access to the culinary-diverse dining options across campus. Meal plans are available at a discounted price for Faculty and Staff to purchase and are paid for through payroll deduction.
Full- and part-time faculty and staff (including Graduate Teaching Assistants, Research Assistants, and Adjunct Faculty) are able to participate in the Faculty & Staff Meal Plans. Temporary and student staff members are not eligible to receive these plans.
Spring '24 Faculty & Staff Meal Plans will be active until May 10, 2024.

How to Sign-Up and Pay for a Meal Plan
Faculty and Staff may request a plan be added to their GWorld card by filling out the form below. Each semester you enroll in the Faculty/Staff Meal Plan there will be either three monthly or six bi-weekly post-tax deductions from your paycheck based on your pay schedule. For example, monthly deductions for fall meal plans will come out of your September, October and November paychecks.

No changes can be made after you select a plan;
Meal swipes do not carry over from semester to semester. Any unused meal(s) for that semester will be forfeited;
There is no automatic enrollment. To participate in the Faculty/Staff Meal Plan you will need to sign-up to participate at the beginning of each semester or academic year.

Fall meal plans are available to use from September 1 – December 17.
Spring meal plans are available to use from February 1 – May 10.
Our Faculty & Staff Meal Plans are based on a ‘swipe’ concept. A swipe grants diners entry into any of the three dining halls in Thurston, Shenkman, or Pelham Commons. Diners can swipe their GWorld card with the cashier, which deducts one ‘meal’ from their plan. Once in the dining area, diners can eat as much as they want from a variety of offerings. Or a swipe can be used to obtain a 'Meal Deal' (an entree, side and drink) from one of GW Dining’s quick-service locations in District House or the University Student Center. Meal Deals are also available at Shenkman Global (Sushi Do) or Buff & Brew on the Mount Vernon Campus.
Once a diner uses their full pre-paid swipe allotment for the semester, they can still visit any on-campus GW Dining locations, but would need to pay out-of-pocket.
